Job Description

Operability Technicians needed for Utility Demand Response in Owings Mills, MD

The function of the Operability Technician is to inspect Demand Response devices. This includes required repairs and replacement of damaged, missing or the appearance of tampered devices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of existing demand response devices
  • Repair or replacement of damaged, missing or tampered devices

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to complete assigned work without direct supervision

Qualifications and/or Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good driving record and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background and Drug Screen

Work Conditions:

  • Driving a company authorized vehicle
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/per hour DOE
