POSITION SUMMARY

Scope Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and is a front-line, client-focused leader who works with stakeholders to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements.

The successful candidate should bring expertise in managing all aspects of projects to install or maintain renewable energy resources, such as residential and/ or commercial battery storage, solar, or wind projects. The successful candidate will provide project management expertise to oversee day-to-day operations of significant client accounts across all complex projects, including client relationship, proposal delivery, project staffing needs, work execution on client’s schedule, QA/QC of work product, and project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Manage projects, leading teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements; Provide technical leadership, coordinate project workflows, manage financial performance and contribute to reporting.
• Engage with internal and external resources to develop scope, budget and schedule using platforms, tools and approaches.
• Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks.
• Responsible for implementation of quality procedures at project and task levels.
• Support and manage the execution of renewable energy services projects.
• Mentor and advise new team members to provide understanding of the renewable energy program and associated work.
• Generate new opportunities through established and new networks of solar wind and energy storage clients.
• Support business development and marketing function by coordinating the updates to marketing documents, attending conferences, and communicating with potential new clients.
• Manage and maintain opportunity and project database and track important milestones.
• Manage client communications.
• Assist in the development of proposals resulting in the award of new work.
• Work out of Florida and travel as needed throughout the United States.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience managing and driving the full spectrum of energy services required throughout the project life cycle of renewable energy projects.
• S. or B. A. from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of renewable energy development experience.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of development, design, permitting, construction, and/or maintenance of renewable energy services.
• Strong interest and experience in engaging clients to identify, win and manage projects.
• Experience leading, recruiting, building, mentoring, and working with project teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience conveying technical presentations.
• Strong business acumen and attributes.
• Travel required (50% of the time).
